Good intention, poor execution
NPR has been really hit or miss the last three years with content. The ideas are there, but the way the content is executed is not all there. I’m not sure that this should have been a “HOW-TO” show as it may have been something else like a documentary series with a prescription at the end. What I find the most distasteful is the tone the show uses about the situations and the persons going through them. It feels lightly patronizing at times.

This was a brilliant idea for a podcast then they turned it into raising kids. Rename it and save peoples phone storage.

When I first came across this podcast, I think I binged like 10 of them in a row! SUCH a joy to listen to. Very well thought out and produced. Excellent content. Highly recommend.

the episode on how not to waste food was very inspiring and accessible for the non-chefs! “helping me to help save the planet, and be a good steward of finances”
