Life Sentences
This is a fine debut episode in what promises to be a compelling series on biography by veteran broadcaster and literary journalist Caroline Baum. Cassandra Pybus’s own family history as the descendant of white settlers on Tasmania provides a personal context for her reassessment of the life of Truganinni. In her engaging style, Baum leads Pybus in an intriguing discussion on a much misunderstood figure. I look forward to hearing more from Life Sentences.
