Blown away by Professor strang. When he teaches nothing feels complicated but the summation of his teachings is impressive. Arguably the greatest teacher I have ever learned from. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first 15 lectures and will continue to do so. Hope others out there experience the same...Read full review »

Lectures are delivered in a good manner. I have watched half of the first lecture and stopped after encountering a discrepancy. Prof. Gilbert makes a mistake when he demonstrates how to solve a matrix equation graphically but uses values in columns to draw vectors (values in rows should be used...Read full review »

Im Alter von 75 Jahren mathematische und sprachliche Kenntnis mal neben bei zu testen, war mir ein Vergnügen. Faszinierend dieser Gilbert, der Beides in Erklärung und Kreidestrich bestens rüberbringt.

For whatever reason, my learning style in my linear algebra class does not match how the instructor has decided to teach. The instruction style of this video series matches how I learn, so it's an awesome tool to use as a supplement to the class I'm already in.

Prof Strang is an amazing teacher. He emphasizes building up from the basics so you need to memorize very little.

I learned 14 yrs ago the same thing, although I did so many exercises, but I never understood why the hell must an engineer student learn linear algebra! Now with this fantastic way of teaching from Prof. Strang, I not only understood the motivation of learning algebra, but also connected the...Read full review »

Crisp clear. Logic. Great structure. Simple to understand. Prof Strang leads you through that universe of linear algebra as if it was nothing. I had linear algebra 25 years ago back in college and it was a really great "brush-up". I couldn't resist and watch, and actually followed all of the...Read full review »

I feel really pity that I didnt watch this course earlier. Prof. Strang explained linear algebra with a intuitive and elegant insight, which help me to think with linear algebra, not only calculate with it. For example, knowing the column picture is so important for a beginner. I love and admire...Read full review »

The other 5 star reviews are accurate in their description. Simply put, linear algebra use to be mystical. I worked in the dark, but now I see the light. I understand the how, the what, the why. And the truth is beautiful. Single handedly got me an A in class.

I had a _very_ good teacher for linear algebra - and still got a lot out of these. Strang is a national treasure, and I say that without a hint of irony. Crystal clear, with the kind of choice of emphasis you only get from lifetime's experience as a teacher and complete command of the subject. ...Read full review »

Simple amazing. Dr. Strang really cares. He is not here to show off nor is he trying to dazzle you with flashy math theory. You really learn why and where things came from and you start to understand all the little math tricks that you have been doing all these years. Must watch!!!!!

I have watched 15 of these lectures and I love them! They are so clear and they make linear algebra so easy to understand.
