Giants escape Burnes's dominance, outslug the Brewers in the one-off
Listen now
The first of three disjointed games against the Giants ended on a sour note for the Brew Crew on Monday night in a 4-2 loss. Despite Corbin Burnes delivering another dominant performance, the Brewers offense again failed to rise off the mat - aside from Willy Adames in the 8th. Burnes worked into the 7th inning and collected 11 strikeouts and only yielded two hits - both singles in yet another masterpiece for the reigning Cy Young.
