Rowdy Tellez was a man on a mission on Sunday in the rubber match of a three-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays as the Milwaukee Brewers claimed the finale and the series to cap the homestand. The Blue Jays claimed the opener 9-4 behind a strong effort from Alek Manoah, but the Brewers responded with great arms of their own with an incredible Corbin Burnes start on Saturday then an all-hands performance on Sunday. The Brewer bats continued to show signs of life slugging 10 runs and Tellez contributing a pair of homers on Sunday. Plus previously on Saturday they received a homer from Mike Brosseau and Andrew McCutchen each in the winning effort. At the end of the weekend, the Brewers claimed their first series win at home since the Nats series on May 21st. Now the Brewers enjoy an off day (and we will too, so no podcast tomorrow!) and prepare to head to the Trop for a quick two-gamer in Tampa Bay before continuing on to Pittsburgh.
