“Gotta give a quick thanks to Dery to keep Lions talk going through not only a quarantine but years of losing while doing this podcast. Has been a Monday morning listen mandatory throughout the fall and the rest of the year. And also despite public pressure to do so he doesn’t try to put lipstick on a pig in Allen Park to shill for better reviews. I appreciate honesty over playing politics.
Only constructive criticism is this: When NFL players who rarely choose to take the risk to speak up on social issues or problems that are occurring in the Detroit Lions locker room, give them the same leeway that many of us give you on your show and that is to simply vent on their frustrations. As you tell many people, its your show so you can say what you want. Well this is their lives so give them the respect to not just tell them to get over these issues and shutup already. I’d like to believe you mean well so that’s why it doesn’t lower my rating for your show. Thanks for the hard work and stay safe.”
