“Hey Nick and Isaac! I love the pod. I listen to it every day on my way to work win or lose.
Frank and Josh both have great on/off +/- stats. Franks defense is at an All NBA level and has shown he can shut down opposing elite guards. His IQ and passing are solid and he has shown he can hit the occasional three and make the right pass. Josh has started blossoming and can impact the game with his energy, cutting and defense. We have all been electrified his flashes of high level passing and athleticism. While Frank is the better point of attack defender and shooter, Josh’s brings more energy, passing, and excitement.
Both Frank and Josh are awesome perimeter defenders and solid glue guys. But, because of their lack of consistent offense, Kidd is playing one while the other gets a DNP. Sterling and Reggie are shooting really well and THJ will hopefully follow. I fear giving one, let alone both Frank and Josh minuets over our floor spacing wings will prove difficult.
Do you think Frank and Josh are redundant being that they both defend and pass but struggle behind the arch? What are y’all’s thoughts on Frank and Josh’s minutes, fits, and roles on this team with our current guard depth? Who would you like to see Frank and Josh play over?
I personally love how both of them fit with Luka, JB, and KP and want to see our young, high upside defenders play more.
