“A gift to Nuggets fans, I look forward to listening to these pods on a daily basis. However, some constructive criticism: I think having someone to play Devil’s Advocate to their podcast partner is healthy and makes for a good discussion but constantly warring with a fanbase really drags down and derails the show too often. Matt has done this a lot lately and I just fail to see the point — to the fans you’re fighting with, lecturing them is not going to change anything and to everyone else who just wants to hear analysis about the team it’s an enormous waste of time. There are times to do it — calling out fans for booing Will Barton or for letting the arena get overrun by opposing fans is fine. But lecturing the fanbase over how they should feel about their team and its season is usually uncalled for and comes of as holier-than-thou. This is happening more and more often and I hope it gets recalibrated in the future. Because the rest of the pod is great and this part just seems to be getting in the way a lot.”
