“this trade takes place under the assumption that eric gordon is traded for anyone other than a center
Houston Receives: Mo Bamba + Al Forouk Amino (idk how to spell that lol)
Magic Receive: Danuel House + Austin Rivers (sign and trade) + cris clemons and potentially a second or two
Rationale: houston gets a young player that can rim roll and defend the rim (dollar store clint capela) that will play primarily with harden but may be able to play with russ depending on how his shot progresses. it will also allow them to play small ball with pj and jeff green during some of russ’ minutes and the playoffs. they also get rid of Danuel house a win in and of itself
orlando gets a great role player in danuel house to come off the bench as their 6th man and brings Austin house home to start or be a back up depending on how many of their guards re-sign, and they get the goat, cris clemons
players involved:
mo bamba gets to play next to james harden and catch lobs all game and is basically uncontested for center minutes,
al farouk gets to round out the rotation in houston while getting some of the widest open threes of his career,
danuel house gets booted from houston to possibly the bleakest basketball situation in orlando... oh sweet revenge,
Austin river’s gets to go home to orlando and will get a more certain spot in the rotation in orlando,
and cris clemons will be cris clemons”
