Well Researched, But Tunnel Visiony
Great production, strong casual host, and well researched. Sometimes the host tends to loiter and imply—it comes off a bit too tunnel visionish. It sort of runs out of steam when the show begins just a series of events regarding the exploration of women (especially young), and how vile and unevolved mankind is. The show tends to overreach when just chronicling would suffice. I mostly enjoyed. The episode devoted to Lana Del Rey was irrelevant, insipid, and regretful. We don’t need a half of episode devoted to a woman who has never read the book, and just doesn’t have the intellectual firepower to give it a new or fresh read. That ep meandered way too long on LDR. Also, if you’re sensitive to millennials millenializing—you won’t like this show. The host adds trigger warnings nearly every ten minutes
