Best in show!
I love this podcast because of the sheer range of guests. You have the legends like Legends Tom Carrol, Terje Haakonsen, Kelly Clark, Rob Machado and Jamie Thomas, through to the current crop of super stars like Travis Rice, Rachel Atherton, Alex Honnold, Jeremy Jones and Danny MacAskill. Then you have the topical subject matter like Leo Baker and Patti Gonia discussing gender and sexuality in action sports, Phil Young and Selema Masekela tackling diversity, Dave Rastovich, Lauren Macallum and Hugo Tagholm discussing activism or authors Mike Manzoori and Jerome Tanon pulling apart creativity. On top of all that the back catalogue includes a huge raft of what Matt calls ‘lifers’ mortals who have found a way to make a career out of their passion. Commentator, hub of the euroepean action sports industry and cancer survivor Dave Mailman, comedy genius and pillar of the UK skate community Mark Munson, Aussie whacker and wag Ben Mondy, Greg Stump, Chris Cote the list is as long as it is entertaining. I can’t recommend this pod highly enough.

So far, so good! This is a great podcast dedicated to unearthing stories from sometimes unexpected sources. Matt Barr hosts it in a super knowledgeable way without ever losing the connection with his audience. Well worth a listen.

Insightful interviews with human beings (world famous or not) who happen to be (or have been) involved in action sports. Although every guest and every story is different, recurring themes emerge of risk, responsibility, sustainability and passion.

An engaging and thoughtful podcast uncovering the most compelling stories in action sports and other related undeavours. These aren't your standard or obvious interviews, these are well thought through, intelligent, and articulate conversations that have a meandering pace all of their own....Read full review »
