Bravo.
I have listened to every episode and read Paul’s book. These. Are. Great. I’m disheartened by some of the reviews saying that johns stories aren’t for him to tell or are insensitive. This podcast is simply not for them. John has a part in every story. They’re also his stories..I Praise you for supporting the fathers crisis during his sons funeral, I thank you for solving crimes, being the empathetic being that has to face one’s family to inform them of a deceased relative, and treating the blue uniform as a responsibility to in-fact, protect and serve the community and not use it as an ego boosting privilege. Thank you for fighting fires and laying our loved ones to rest with respect. Paul and John have a unique story telling style that portrays serious issues in a light- hearted-black-humour manor. I feel if you listen from the start you can appreciate their personalities and know truely that no malice is intended. Paul is great, quirky and hilarious. And John, well, he is John (insert laughing face/face palm). Any way, all-in-all thanks for the quality listens!

I laughed out loud so many times with the dry sense of humour of this father and son duo! An interesting story told with humour galore in a low fuss way.

My Dad was a police officer in Chicago in the 80s and 90s. This reminds me so much of our talks and the way he tells stories. Must be universal. I loved listening to this podcast and can’t wait for more!
