“The case of Fred & the drownings of his wifes - This is an interesting story but what is so aggravating & mind boggling to me is that the DA & officers have spent so much time on this case trying to find Fred guilty when there is clearly not enough evidence to prove him guilty. I don’t understand why this man is in jail when there have been so many other people not behind bars with significantly more evidence. Casey Anthony for example.
Multiple times it was stated that he knocked out his wife & son with the boats’ ors before drowning them. Yet multiple autopsy reports show no head trauma & only drowning. I don’t understand how they are using that as a guilty defense when the autopsy disproves that.
They even go as far as to interview his therapist/psychologist who confirms that he believes Fred is telling the true story & that he wouldn’t be able to fake that kind of emotional trauma. They basically disregarded his statements & just heard what they wanted to hear.
I usually don’t comment on podcasts but this whole case was so bizarre & difficult to listen to because of all the conflicting statements. For example; They said that he was a great swimmer so why couldn’t he save them? That alone doesn’t make him guilty. In their very next breath they state that he clearly was a great swimmer and was able to swim for over an hour bringing them back to safety. Someone would have to be in great shape physically to do that. Sounds to me like someone in the DA office has a grudge against an innocent man.”
