Quality investigative journalism
Especially the second season. It’s a fascinating story in which, I think, the right verdict was reached. There’s compelling recordings from the time of the crime and now, not least of Fred, who I agree with one of the contributors is probably a sociopath. The question we’re left with is how many people did Fred kill. Not just his second wife, I bet.

I love crime podcasts but this one leaves me wanting more. There’s not a lot of depth here and it moves very slowly. I was hoping for more.

With a pile of things on my ‘To Do’ list yesterday, I couldn’t stop listening to this podcast. It is brilliant, and will draw you in. Can’t wait to hear how this unfolds. But huge thanks to the team producing this gift to the rest of us.

While the facts in this case arent as interesting as the original Serial, I think this New Yorker reporter has a similar gift of storytelling. She really knows how to build up the suspense.
