Embarrassingly poor quality podcast. Offers nothing new but gives prominent voice to attention-seeking, under-qualified and over-opinionated ‘experts’ (ie laughable daily mail journalist!). Actually couldn’t continue beyond episode 3

I feel so sorry for the family they had absolutely no help right from the start. The police should be ashamed of themselves

Interesting hearing different theories presented as so use to the focus on the abduction scenario. I found what the profiler said made a lot sense. You can’t hep thinking anything is possible after stories surface of fritzl and Elizabeth smart!! Still don’t believe the parents were involved...Read full review »

Pretty biased, sensationalized and irresponsible podcast. I don’t know what happened but no one should base a podcast on a sleazy, grandstanding, disgraced cop who tried to cash in on a tragedy. One of the only things I am sure of is that the cops did a poor job with the original investigation...Read full review »

This is more of a review of the reviews, most of these people who have left a one star review have obviously not seen any of the evidence in this case and base their knowledge of the case from what the mainstream media have spoon fed them. Wake up people and look at the police files and follow...Read full review »

This is a biased and callous account of a tragic incident made to exploit a family’s heartbreak. The host has a clear agenda from the outset and pursues it mercilessly, never giving the McCanns’ account any credence and using the most puerile epithets dreamt up by trash tabloids to refer to them...Read full review »

Each episode starts with a disclaimer noting that the producers are not claiming that the McCanns have anything to do with the child’s disappearance. It then goes on for hours picking holes in everything the McCanns and people associated with them have said and done, indeed hinting to the fact...Read full review »

Start with the first one, you won’t be able to stop! And everything predicted by the Portuguese investigator is happening! Mark Saunokonoko, Isabelle McFadden, Laura Richards, Pat Brown ‘profiler’, have all profited by spreading rumour, creating propaganda and releasing information detrimental to the case. If you want a realistic, well researched and accurate account of the case then I’d heavily advise the Netflix...Read full review »

All your research is based on finding out the parents inconsistencies. You don’t focus on the alternative that Madeleine may have been abducted. So there is no way you have come in from a “don’t assume anything” perspective as you were advised to do. If you are a decent human being, which you...Read full review »

This is an excellent podcast. It has been extremely well researched using the published Portuguese police investigation files and draws on commentary from former police officers, DNA experts and many other. Woven together and presented beautifully.

I like podcasts because they offer the potential detail of a book, without sacrificing the level of attention needed to remain engaged. I’ve intentionally avoided many of the documentaries and sensationalist media articles regarding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, but thought I’d finally...Read full review »

Loved the podcast and I agree with the personal opinion at the end but there is one massive inconsistency in Kate MCann’s evidence of the events on the night Madeleine went missing that has not been addressed, by anyone ever. It’s so obvious it is hiding in plain sight and Kate McCann has said...Read full review »

Well produced. Audio was excellent except on a few of the phone calls. It’s interesting how podcasts go much deeper than the shallow, sensationalized news headlines people are fed; both of which force a different perspective. I think podcasts are superb and a huge ‘well done’ to the journalists...Read full review »

I was really looking forward to listening to this podcast but within minutes it was obvious to me that it is biased and weighted to infer that the McCanns were guilty. Very unfair. A waste of time!

Unbalanced conspiracy theory reporting, worth listening just to re-confirm how ridiculous some of the media coverage was of this case at the time. If you listen follow it up with more independent research which will quickly debunk most of the theories contained here.

VERY interesting! Unlike some detractors here, I didn’t see the journo/presenter as biased simply because he asked why investigations had been so narrowly-focused whilst some possibilities remained un-pursued. Hmmm! Some odd things, for sure! My brain went into speculation-overdrive.

What a low brow story. This narrator is desperate to prosecute the narrative that the parents are killers. It really ripped into the realm of stupidity when the used the defence lawyer from the Netflix show the Staircase as an expert witness...OMG! Don’t waste your time with this ‘investigation’

Everyone saying that the podcast is speculation is right. The reasons for that is the McCanns *won’t answer questions* and changed their stories.
