It’s like listening to an action movie in real time.
I never ever write reviews and give my opinion on things i read or listen to. I either say to myself that “was rubbish not listening to that again” or that was “pretty decent wonder if they’ve done any more like that”. Nothing has ever actually made me take the time out of what little I do I daily to say that the Mafia audioboom is one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. I anxiously await each new episode and who the subject matter will be this week. Keep up the fabulous work each and every one of you involved in making such a show you all should be very proud of such an accomplishment. Sorry for rambling on but it had to be said. One topic I would like to hear about at some stage is the infamous DeMeo crew and also how the acting members of the Bonanno family felt after he wrote his book “Man of honour” Kind Regards, Richard Norton Dublin Ireland

I'm loving this show so far and love the usage of old interviews to tell the story. Great sound design and editing.

The cliffhanger at the end of episode 1 is bonkers in the best way possible.

In the most recent episode on Lucky Luciano (Part 2) has speakers talking over each other. The episode needs to be re-edited. If it wasn’t for this, I probably would have given this podcast 5-stars. If this is a sign of things to come, it will be a much lower rating.
