In an effort to motivate myself to lose weight and become healthier, I have followed many diet-culture podcasts. When I came across Andrea’s podcast, I discovered something new - she shares not the typical diet-culture message, but a message and guidance towards whole health for the whole person. I have finally found someone who can teach me - in layman’s terms - ways to make lasting lifestyle changes for body, mindset, and soul that I am confident are helping me to heal my relationship with food, honestly address my food addiction and lifelong struggle with binging, and build a new relationship with MYSELF to become a healthier, happier me. I have listened to every episode (ok, most of them twice) and seek her podcast out whenever I am struggling in my day. Andrea - you are an inspiration, my virtual friend and quasi-therapist. You make me feel like I truly am doing better than I think I am, even on my worst days. Thank you for being that voice of patience, understanding and encouragement in my journey. 💕
