Dr. Tremblay, a geneticist, is fleeing after attempting to distribute his Alzheimer's cure against his employer's wishes. To escape the private security company pursuing him, he navigates a dangerous river to seek asylum north of the 60th parallel in the Arctic Alliance. An old robotic dog unexpectedly aids him, rescuing him from drowning. When Tremblay faces capture, the dog saves him again before vanishing into the forest.
