A sci-fi, horror, action story about a teenager named Shinichi, who's body is almost taken over by a parasitic creature, but stops it just before it reaches his brain causing it to only take over his left hand. Shinichi and his new parasite companion, Migi, figure out how to coexist together as they attempt to hide Migi's existence from other people while also coming in contact with other parasites! We discuss this horrifying but silly series, as we touch on how Iwaaki explores things like grief, trauma and even environmentalism?! We also discuss what we think of the 2014 anime from Madhouse, as well as just how far the manga's availability has come in the US since the first time it was licensed by Tokyopop!
