Fantastic lens into innovation for bicycles
It’s hard to characterize the main character in this podcast, Josh Poertner. He’s some kind of autodidactic polymath who also seems to be a genuinely nice guy and pretty decent interviewer with an easy voice to listen to. I’ve passed the hours on many long rides during the pandemic ruminating about all the different topics they’ve discussed. I am much more likely to advocate doing the most impactful things right than obsess over marginal gains, however, I still love the mental agility and curiosity of this podcast.

If you want to know how the bolt is made that goes onto your bike, this is the podcast for you. If you want to know how your tire is made, this is the podcast. I have binge listened to all the episodes and have learnt so much (and I’m an ex full time rider that works in the cycling trade). Hands down the best cycling podcast out there.
