With the change of hosts the show has gone downhill.
The focus now seems to be not on the interesting topic of ideas and tech's intersection with the world but instead on silicon valley and the cult of personality specifically. The host also injects herself and her views into the topics and narratives to an extent that is distracting and detracting. In her soft-ball chat with Ajit Pai she humblebrags not once but twice that she has interviewed three FCC chairmen. Other interviews seem to be fluff for the sake of having a big name (e.g. Neil dGT) even if the indiv is largely over-hyped and only tangentially related to the topic of tech. Even the show name has been altered to include her name. The show has gone from a must-listen daily show to a vanity platform for one person.Read full review »

More reviews of Marketplace Tech
1) I had to figure out how to do a review just for Molly 2) Great podcast. I liked the other Tech one, but the music is better now. And Molly is so smart!

I like this show because its not too long and just hits the highligts of tech. Unfortunately, I can't listen to it because it keeps causing my Downcast app to crash.Read full review »

Marketplace Tech is not the only podcast coming on this feed, Codebreakers and Marketplace Weekend are coming also. Someone is pushing the wrong podcasts through this feed.
