Sooner or later, those reasons will be tested. That's why, this week, I thought I would explore our WHY for running. Why do we do what we do? Why do we spend so much time running, thinking about running, recovering from running, preparing for running? Our reasons our WHY may change over our running years from when we started but it's a good time to ask ourselves if our reasons for running are enough to keep us going.

    #273 - Running is an active sport and as an active sport, things can happen while you're running. If you've ever had a serious accident while running or had another unfortunate circumstance, you may have suffered from PTSD, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. This week, I talk about how DTSD relates to running and how you can take steps to help find your way through. This is such a huge and terrible disorder, that I'm focusing on runners here in particular to keep the focus on the theme of my show, but I do know that is in a subject that needs much more research and resources. If you need help or want to understand more about PTSD, I provide links on the show website. There is help and you are not alone.
