“I’ve only listened to one episode, but I was behind episode 034 (about chronic pain and inflammation) until you and your guest said to avoid CrossFit (& Orange Theory) if you have chronic pain. Soooo not true! CrossFit has helped my chronic pain immensely! How can movement, getting stronger, and losing weight be bad for chronic pain? Everything in CrossFit can be adjusted to each person’s abilities (including injury, pain, etc). CrossFit’s community keeps people coming back (staying with the program— even better!) and feeling good around other people will help pain, too, if people have a supportive environment. Better mood helps with pain, period. What a shame to speak out against a type of fitness that you and your guest obviously don’t know anything about.”
