The best educational opera podcast
This really is my favourite opera podcast. It give very well researched information about operas and everything to do with opera. Often based on current or upcoming opera productions at the MET I consider the podcasts to be essential preparation for any MET production. I live in England so I can’t visit the MET very often. Happily the MET cinema relays bring the production to my local cinema. These podcasts are always a good way to prepare for the relays. If I was nearer to NY I would definitely attend these lectures. The archived lectures are also very helpful. I wish the Royal Opera House did a similar podcast. Maybe in the future. Highly recommended.
