Catalyst for my development as a young muslim man.
I have been listening to this podcast since I was single, 19, at uni, feeling like I didn’t fit in with my non-muslim friends and had no Muslim Men that I resonated with in my social circle. Now I’m 23, married and finally starting to feel like a real muslim man and I have to thank this podcast for aiding in my journey (Alhamdulillah). This podcast resonated with me so much and was the catalyst to start my Imaan journey as I wasn’t really practicing growing up and now I look at my younger self as a completely different person. This podcast was a space for me to not feel alone when I was at uni at to be proud of my identity as a muslim. This podcast inspired me to better myself not just for dunya purposes but the akhirah. Even when I was going through tough times and had no one to talk to, I’d listen to an episode where AkhiTweet would talk about his experiences from his youth and I would feel like someone understood me. Almost like an older brother which I never had. I sincerely love both brother Mohamed and Ameen so much for starting this project even though I have never met them in person (insha’Allah one day). May Allah bless them and put Barakah in Mindheist. I’m forever grateful for stumbling upon this podcast and I pray it continues to benefit other young Muslims the way it did for me.
