“I was introduced to the concept of minimalism through my sister a couple years ago as she encouraged me to watch The Minimalist movie on Netflix; but I was struggling to connect until I found your podcast two months ago and it clicked!
I was hooked- definitely Netflix bingeworthy ;)
I have now listened to all 159 episodes and along the way started to find ways to integrate these amazing minimalism pearls at getting by with less so we can do more as a family. Your podcasts have brought to life minimalism for families in a way that is doable and meaningful- small baby steps!! A lot of the material is even familiar with how I was raised and not necessarily life changing but with more intention to the concept of minimalism it made everything feel more purposeful and I definitely see the benefits on reducing stress and the overwhelm of things.
This is the inspiration we need to hear as a working mom with three kids (and a wonderful husband - who was very glad when I asked him if I could finally find a new home for the broken decorative clock that had been sitting on our kitchen counter for three years...)
I will likely re-listen to pertinent episodes as seasons of life, holidays, or tasks for decluttering come along again, but I just couldn’t go any slower the first time through! Thanks for your time working on this and connecting with other minimalist moms.”
