Five years after Shawn introduced his good friend TC Padgett to Ridley Scott's Alien, TC returns to watch James Cameron's masterful sequel ALIENS. Does TC think it holds a candle to Scott's horror classic, or will he be disappointed by Cameron's wham-bam-thank you ma'am aesthetic?

Between Takes 0.63 - Love on a Leash

Between Takes 0.63 - Love on a Leash

Carley Cooper simply would not rest until she'd introduced Shawn to the astonishing, remarkable, time-bending effort that is LOVE ON A LEASH, a film belongs in the annals with the likes of Tommy Wiseau's The Room and Neil Breen's Fateful Findings. It's a film so strange, so overwhelming, so baffling, that it took Shawn and Carley a year to reunite after they recorded the first part of this episode to record part two, a historic first for Missing Frames. Will they survive the experience and live to record another podcast on another day? Only time will tell.

I got framed

Wow! I loved, loved, loved this. A perfect 10 mix of knowledge, banter and hilarious quips. The host has great energy and offers excellent commentary. This doesn’t take itself too seriously and delivers a podcast with true cinema take aways. Check in on the pod that covers the movies you’ve been holding off on! Subscribe and rate this show!

love the concept, host has bad manners

the concept is great and the guests can be interesting. the host is a cannonball of white-guy-podcast-host cliches, the most consistent of which is “asking questions” to guests who sit in silence and wait for him to ramble through his own brilliant takes on answers they haven’t yet given. it’s not charming to be so excited you indulge in bad manners, and this is bad manners. there is no good reason to have guests if you do transparently do not care to *listen* to them.
