Ghoulish
I felt ghoulish listening to this show. I say this as someone who listens to a lot of true crime shows and hasn't had this reaction before. It's obvious her family grieved deeply over this tragedy. There's nothing here that excuses us strangers picking at this painful wound. The host has added nothing to the information anout the case. To top it all off, he makes incredibly misinformed assumptions about mental illness.Read full review »

Great podcast. Unlike anything that I’ve listened to in a while. Narrator has a pleasant rhythm.

This seems like a very interesting story but this is probably the worst podcast I’ve heard that has been produced by a major company. I’m sure this guy is a fine writer but he’s a horrible podcaster. I would like to hear this story told by another podcaster who can do it justice.

Story is pretty interesting. I’m from Arizona and have family in Alaska so it is extra intriguing. But for some reason the narrator sounds like he’s always irritated. Or maybe arrogant. Could take a few lessons from other journalist’s podcasts. A little humility goes a long way.
