“I thought this story was very interesting and think the host did a decent job with it, but it has some drawbacks. The one that was an issue throughout was the ads. There are so many obnoxious ads throughout, even with the skip function it got annoying. The other thing was more of an issue toward the end. The episode about the camera, while interesting, rubbed me a bit the wrong way. For one, this sense of entitlement that he has that he deserves to see these photos just really bugged me, as well as the other reporter’s seemingly disbelief that the family chose to not view the photos and her entitlement that those photos should be public. Maybe the family didn’t want to see them and maybe also wouldn’t want every random person on the internet to have them! People grieve in different ways, there’s nothing odd at all that they would have chosen to not view the photos. From there it seemed to really turn into conspiracy theory territory and brought the whole podcast down for me. If you’re interested, it’s worth a listen, but maybe skip the last couple of episodes or be prepared to hear entitled conspiracy theories.”
