Frustrating to the max
As many have said...lots of promise, lots of disappointment. The story is intriguing. The storytelling was awful. Like...stupendously awful. There’s the whole episode on Croatian separatists that is never mentioned again. Or the “interview” with the waitress where he just tells the story...the same story he has been telling you for like 7 hours. The voice acted interview that lasts 45 minutes where the interviewer says “I don’t know” probably hundreds of time. The hour plus episode (not joking) describing trash they find on a beach. It’s infuriating listening to him try to find where he is going with his story. It got to the point where I was skipping ahead 30 seconds at a time for 75% of the episode from like episode 6 on. Do yourself a favor, look it up online and don’t listen.

why put ads in the first episode, don’t you want us to actually listen

I’m a member of the Fowler family. My grandfather is mentioned and my father was interviewed. Very surreal to hear your family brought up on this.
