Just bring back the essays and actors
They are published in NYT because they’re beautifully written, sometimes the stories themselves aren’t as amazing as the way they’re constructed and written. This ‘deconstruction’ doesn’t work and it’s a shame

Having excellent actors reading these essays adds a life to them that isn't possible to gather from the printed page. Sarah Paulson and Jason Alexander are particularly outstanding. Of course, the follow-up interviews with the authors satisfy my craving for background information.Read full review »
