I’m torn.
For the most part I enjoy the podcast. I, like Blake, love werewolves and his research on them is absolutely fascinating! I also enjoy most of the episodes and have some Saved for when my daughter gets old enough to have that primal fear of monsters. Some episodes though come off incredibly demeaning, mostly by the experts brought on. Especially “Getting into the spirit of things”. One of my pet peeves is ad hominem arguments. In my humble opinion it’s an adolescent argument. Insulting someone who believes in something and insinuating “I’m smarter than you, so I’m right” is cringeworthy at best. I believe there’s a way to be a skeptic and still be respectful to others arguments and research. For example; I’m sure there were lot of skeptics to the round earth theory but it is human nature to sometimes be wrong.

While Monster Talk may be new to the podcast world, it sounds like a true veteran. Excellent hosts, fantastic content and great production. I subscribed after just one listen and became an instant fan and recommend this new show to everyone.
