Topic-based episodes are helpful
Newer listener and I’m assuming I’m skewing younger within the typical listener demographics. I’m enjoying the podcast so far, especially that each episode is focused on specific topics vs a longer episode covering many things. This does clutter up my podcast feed a bit but I like that I can pick and choose the topics that I’m interested in. I appreciate having an English source of current news within Montreal that I don’t need to use tools to translate. I gave 3 stars because the hosts seem to talk over the guests pretty often and even over each other. I’m not quite sure what the dynamic is since I’m a new listener but this gets frustrating to listen to. On one podcast about jobs where they had a guest from Glassdoor, one host literally asked “so what is Glassdoor?” and not in a “can you tell our listeners a bit about what Glassdoor does” at the start of the episode… it was a “ok wait so what even is this company?” at the END of the episode and interview. It was embarrassing tbh. Additionally, you can often hear the office/surroundings in the background of the episodes like pens clicking, phones dinging, papers moving etc. and it’s quite distracting.
