I Like These Ladies
I like these ladies, they’re smart, they‘re a nice pair, they love their subject. They are often also funny. I think it‘s great that they humanize victims. A few things bother me about this show: 1. They don‘t stay on subject. This is OK sometimes, but they need to reign it in a bit. It‘s ridiculous how long their tangents can last. They also aren‘t precise about the language they use and that can lead to possibly alienating some listeners. Not me, but whoa..I know people who would be very put off by some of the things they say. 2. I believe they put time into scripting out their descriptions of the crimes, however they are stunningly ignorant, not stupid…quite the opposite….but ignorant. They don‘t know history, they don‘t know language, they aren‘t aware of standard practices or major cultural elements in our society. It‘s really hard to take sometimes because they are also ignorant to the fact that they are ignorant. They don‘t even know when they‘re out of their depth. That can be hard to listen to. But I do like these ladies, you can watch them grow as the podcast matures, and I do learn interesting things from them.

Ok I’ll go find something to listen to that isn’t trying to run me off. The good part is, I’m not the only one. Many...Read full review »

I love the context and the content! I have learned a lot about cases that I thought I already knew everything about! They are hilarious and have me laughing. Out loud. Keep it up!
