Physio with special interest
Thank you for a fascinating podcast - I am ashamed to say that I have only just discovered it - through a patient in fact. The proverbial cat is now out and everyone I know will be told. Many patients I see do not want to go to ‘PD groups’; they say they don’t want to see the future as there are usually people at various stages. Your programme overcomes this with the humour and honesty and actually makes people want to join in. No one seems at all perturbed about asking questions sometimes showing a level of ignorance about the condition. This is fantastic, it’s as though you are asking for everyone. I’ve learnt so much and yet I am a HCP who has done a lot of training in the area. Obviously not enough! Which is another very important subject that you touched on this week - how to upskill everyone that you will come into contact with. Thank you again Ella Oxford Snr rehab physiotherapist

Informative and easy to listen to, encouraging at times too. Would recommend so far for all who need support concerning the condition and it’s impact.

He is still working as an academic, well supported once he told them. Looking forward to DBS in 5...Read full review »
