Fascinating
I remember my grandfather had Parkinson’s, diagnosed in the early seventies and was instantly committed to the local asylum. My grandmother fought for years to get him out of this institution, sadly with him dying before this was possible. Seeing this being flagged on BBC breakfast this morning, highlights how we have moved on in just the last 50 years. It’s a great listen and a privilege to be able to follow the journey

Thanks for this insightful and irreverent take on PD. I love listening to the ups and downs that the group experiences as it really helps me put my PD in perspective. Each week I join you in spirit in the pub. Cheers
