Movies with Cain and Tal Natalia Bye

Cain is autistic. I have bi-polar disorder. There's a lot of "hashtagnofilter" going on in this podcast so believe me when I say: listening is not for the faint-hearted!
I have known Cain since he was a toddler, a good 20 years. He was in the Logie nominated first season of "Employable Me" (ABC - Highly recommend watching) which is about the struggles of many non-neurotypical Australians trying to find meaningful work. As a teenager he started becoming deeply interested in films and has spent the last 10 years becoming something of a film buff. We do this for fun, please enjoy!

Shortbus (2006) / How to Talk to Girls at Parties (2017)
John Cameron Mitchell double feature. Not for the faint hearted this ep, you have been warned! But if you have been listening to us for a while you will know what you are getting yourself in for. VERY EXPLICIT! Have fun!
-
Slaughterhouse 5 (1972) / Slapstick of Another Kind (1982)
Kurt Vonnegut double feature. Both these films were based on Kurt Vonnegut novels with drastically different results. Listen to hear what we thought!
-
Angels in America (2003) Part One
We got cut off recording this and I can't work out how to smoosh them together so I have had to release it in 2 parts. Sorry!

Jubilee (1978) / Blue (1993)
Derek Jarman double feature. We dive into Queer Cinema with one of Jarman's earliest works and his last work before he died.

Super Fun for Everyone!
I’m not a movie buff, so I was pretty hesitant about listening to this show, but boy was I wrong! So much fun! The hosts clearly know what they are talking about and they do it in a really relatable and fun way. I laughed my face off listening to these two chat about movies I love and also don’t love. This show is awesome and so much fun - wonderful job, friends!
Not good
These 2 people are highly unpleasant. They do not focus on the subject as much as just random things about themselves.
Fantastic Idea for Podcast
So the 5 min time frame is perfect dude to the fact of everyone’s attention span being small. I enjoy the idea of reviewing each movie and giving a bit of the trailer. I might have to use that for sports movies one episode, it’s a neat concept!
