“I’m sure I’ve listened to almost all of MrBallens content. He is hands down the absolute best in the strange, dark and mysterious podcast genre. Told in story format! I implore you all: look up the Lululemon murders. Listen to two or three episodes of various true crimers and listen to MrBallen’s version. You will be blown away. And if this is the first time you are hearing of MrBallen, you have no idea how many “OMG” YouTube videos you will want to binge. I had to force myself not to watch his entire catalog in a matter of days. I watched almost all of the videos pretty quickly though. Take my advice and savor these days when you have can finish an episode and know that you have what feels like countless episodes. I cannot recommend MrBallen enough.
For anyone who screams at the tv when a dog is present when a murder occurs and the dog is never mentioned again, MrBallen is for you. He ALWAYS states what happens to pets. You’ll see this in episode #42. Which is MrBallen at his finest. Spectacular story structure. The hang-on-every-word build up to the big reveal. This story is unbelievable and made even more interesting by MrBallen’s compassionate and respectful portrayal the victims.
