What is LDN and how can it improve MS?

What is LDN and how can it improve MS?

LDN stands for Low Dose Naltrexone and appears to have some excellent outcomes for MS. Whilst it is still a medical treatment, it is in a very low dose and as a result, there are minimal side effects. It actually seems to help the body perform its own functions more efficiently and can help with symptoms such as fatigue and bladder control. I've tried to put as much info into the podcast as possible but get in touch if you'd like to chat further.

    Mental Health and MS

    Mental Health and MS

In this podcast I interview Psychologist Rachael Hunter. Rachael has had MS for seven years and after a difficult start, started following the OMS protocol. She is able to live a completely normal, healthy life and is very involved in spreading the word that managing MS holistically is possible. In this podcast, Rachel shares her wisdom on mental health, her own struggles and provides some brilliant practical advice on how to stay mentally healthy. Stress can have a big impact on the progression of MS and our daily quality of life and it's vital that we find ways to effectively manage it. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did!

Being mindful of what you prepare and eat will help a huge amount. In this podcast I give you four practical tips on how to live mindfully over this very busy, often fraught time. The Importance of Self-Nurture

    The Importance of Self-Nurture

In our busy lives, it's often difficult to find time to do the things we REALLY want to do - things that feed and nurture our souls and increase our happiness levels! Our time is finite and so we need to use the few minutes that we do have every day to rest or do something that we really enjoy. In this podcast, I chat a bit about how these things evoke the relaxation response (RR) which is the opposite process to the stress response. The RR is a state in which our bodies can heal whereas when we are succumbing to stress, this will have a detrimental effect on our health. So, decide what nurtures your soul and then just make time for it! Even if it's just for 5 minus a day. Enjoy guys!
