EDIT: I’ve just been listening to episode 434 where you discuss chapter 2 of order of the phoenix, and you talk a lot about how Dudley had had «foreign tea» and how tea is Indian so is obviously always foreign.
But, as a British kid, I just wanted to tell y’all that some (a lot actually) of British people actually use the word tea instead of saying dinner so my understanding was that Dudley went to *dinner* at his friend’s house, so therefore Vernon asked wether he had something foreign for *dinner*, but used the word tea. My mum usually uses it to say a small dinner.
