“Could y’all be any more self-righteous and self-congratulatory? Doubt it. Get over yourselves and stop saying you’re here for the victims. You’re just here to say you’re the best, you’ve worked the hardest, and you deserve all the credit. You get some kind of perverse joy from saying anyone else doing anything in regards to Murdaugh Murders is wrong or doing a crappy job. It’s impossible to get past your self-aggrandizing to hear the stories of the atrocities this man did to his victims.
Also, as someone who DID NOT grow up in the south, your continual reference to the “good ol’ boys club”, and insinuating anyone you don’t agree with is a member of it, is extremely rude and disrespectful to those of us who DID grow up in the south and are working to make it better. We know it’s not perfect, no place is. But, as an outsider, you are doing nothing to endear yourself to the rest of us. It really just makes some of us not like you.
Just a suggestion, maybe you should take a hint from another podcast and try to look for some good in that area of the state you now call home, and share some of the positive history. Quit making it out that everyone in that area that wasn’t a victim is a bad guy. There are plenty of innocent people in that area and they’ve had enough negative publicity.”
