    Introducing: "Murder in Miami"

In the 1980s crime journalist Phil Stanford dove into the decadent and dangerous world of Miami just as the city was becoming the cocaine- and murder- capital of the United States. His path would place him in the crosshairs of a federal investigation focusing on a mysterious and controversial drug smuggling pilot who claimed to be an operative of the American government- all while flaunting his extensive illicit activity. Murder in Miami traces the connection between the murder of a missing Miami private investigator to the sprawling roots of an international money laundering scheme as Stanford tries to make sense of his role in a surreal story of spies, smugglers, killers and corruption. All reaching to the highest levels on both sides of the law.

Bless their hearts

Does this family really believe what they are saying or are they just so desperate that they’ll believe anything?
I have never listened to a podcast that made me say “oh BULLSH*T” over and over again.
He killed his family. Y’all know it. I know it. But, bless their hearts, that family is all the way in denial. And this podcast is a slap right in face to that girl’s family. Shame on you.

Wow

Wow, first off I stumbled on the show on Spotify, which from what I can tell has no way to review… or see reviews or rating, super annoying. Anyway Episode one definitely caught my eye and I jumped on apple without seeing the ratings/reading the reviews. They’re all true. Episode 2 is god awful. I will not continue. I’m not sure if it’s editing.. I mean, I am actually, this podcast shouldn’t exist. The family victim blaming is just disgusting and gross. The vayn family goes on and on about how awesome their son is and how terrible Kimberly's family is. At one point either the mom or dad actually refers to their son as “a knight in shinning armor” for sticking around and marrying kimberly for getting HER pregnant. I mean what the f. They go on and on about how kimberly’s family looks down on the vayns for not attending college, but also say that Chris needs to break up with Kimberly so he can attend……college. They basically blame Kimberly for anything Chris does wrong. The whole thing is just out of control. I cannot believe someone actually produced then released this garbage. I had to stop listening due to anger and just literally feeling sick to my stomach… kudos to people who made it through the whole series, you’re gross to.

No journalistic integrity shown

Despite court records, evidence to the contrary, and extensive testimony this podcast attempts to sully the victims in death.

Disgusting use of a platform. You could truly take the script from “True Story; 2015”…or several other similar movies to tell where this sociopath dreamed up his new defense. Don’t believe his new legal tactics.
