Excellent host straight to the point which gives the listeners a depth of knowledge as if you know the people that she is talking about. Good host with an amazing voice

Love this podcast! Wish there were new episodes though.

I’ve listened to a LOT of true crime podcasts. This one really caught my eye. However, I feel as though I’m listening to fiction or even a hypnosis story in order to sleep. I don’t mean that in a rude way. It would be perfect for those type of things. For me, I find it difficult to listen to it...Read full review »

Great stories but the narrators over dramatic voice spoils it! Just tell the story!?

Is this a narrator or Ai generated? It feels very monotonous and difficult to follow

This podcast is solid. The storytelling and content are gripping in a low-key way. And can I just say, the perpetrators are diabolical. They may not murder as much over there compared to the US, but when they do, it’s incredibly messed up and terrible. Highly recommend.

I really liked this podcast! It’s the first true crime I’ve listened to, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I was hooked! I binged it and finished in 4 days. Hoping there will be a season 2!

This is a really good show is some ways, but two massive ways it’s really off putting. The narrators voice is borderline robotic merging with drama school dramatic, and the other issue is that every single Scandinavian name and place name is horribly mispronounced to the point that it’s now...Read full review »

I have to say, after hearing first episode, I am disgusted with the Swedish legal system. Poor young girl, Tess, is premeditatedly murdered by a couple and they got 1 year and 8 months?! What kind of example is that?? If I were her parents, I would be in prison myself for homicide! Her poor...Read full review »

I like the narrators voice. Really enjoying the series and the fact they areScandinavian based. It is true you are asked to subscribe to listen as soon as the episode is released but I just wait a week and then listen in.

Not a fan of the narrator but I think the real problem is that they are a voice actor and have no connection to the content, and it shows. Quite soulless yet over dramatic at the same time. This rarely works for podcasts…

The content and detail is great but the delivery is annoying, I’m no expert but I suspect it is a computer program narrating- depressing if this is Artificial Intelligence taking over

The MOST shocking thing about these crimes in Scandinavia is the appallingly short sentences given all of these monsters! The whole of the Scandinavian justice system is seriously lacking! I’m glad I am NOT a citizen of Scandinavia!!
sulva6 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/18/23
Interesting content , I can’t even believe how horrible the justice system is in most of these countries. How many chances do they give these violent offenders to keep raping and killing . They don’t protect their children and women .

An awesome podcast which handles a lot of the ‘Scandinavian traumas’ as well as lesser known cases.

They must if they listen to this snore-fest in bed.
Vic Norman via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/08/23
The cases are interesting but the narration can be a bit over the top, and it’s a bit embarrassing they don’t seem to always research their pronunciations, given it’s a series with a Nordic focus…

I’m always hunting for the next podcast. This podcast is engaging and you feel like you’re in it - its very descriptive.

I like this podcast, but find the overly-dramatic narration a little grating
saskiazw via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/07/23
The way the narrator dramatises every single word is incredibly over the top. Drama school graduate who loves the sound of her own over-cooked voice. Meh

I really do enjoy listening to this podcast , but wish u didn’t have to subscribe to hear bonus episodes.
Hotteytottey via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/22/23
The show itself is fine but asking listeners to pay to subscribe after just a handfyof episodes is ludicrous.
