After loads of adds you get a boring podcast that’s difficult to stay awake to

check out Dead Sleep True Crime for Bedtime - no ads, good stories, told for bedtime

I am amazed at the amount of advertising in this podcast, Murderish. Do you have a passion for crime or a passion for making as much money as possible? The answer is so obvious. The amount of ads is appalling. You are unabashedly exploiting those who are giving you a chance. It’s an absolute NO...Read full review »

Half the time it sounds like she is a robot with absolutely no life in her voice. This podcast also has AT LEAST Three times the amount of ads as others.

Leave politics out and stick to putting people to sleep with the boringness of your projection

I really like the murderous pod cast, but cannot stand the serial streamer podcast episodes that they throw in. I wont listen to them. The unnecessary language (ok! We get it - you have a filthy mouth! 👏🏼) and the narrators opinions are yuck. I like murderous because it’s just information...Read full review »

I keep trying with this podcast but always only make it 5 minutes before turning it off due to what I assume is AI reading a script. Bummer because it sounds up my alley. Alas, I am unsubscribing.

Despite what others have said I like the fact that the host is straight to the point and monotone, I like the fact that quite obviously a lot of research has been done. What I struggle With is the ads, this quite obviously is an issue with most listeners.yet is totally ignored. I totally...Read full review »

First time listening to this podcast and it was as if the host is using AI voice. It was super monotone and I didn’t care for it. The info was great so it’s pretty disappointing. Not going to follow or listen to more.

Your monotone voice and robotic delivery comes across as if you are completely bored by your own stories. I used to listen to this podcast but a long time ago was completely turned off by the unhinged Streamer episodes. Thought I’d try again with old episode. My mistake. Have to point out however...Read full review »

I used to really enjoy this podcast, unsubscribed about 4 years ago, but am getting kind of bored (and caught up on) with my regular podcasts, so I thought I'd give this a try again. When I heard Jami speak, I had to double-check that someone else hadn't taken this over. I used to enjoy...Read full review »

Loved the podcast for a few years but have been turned off of late due to the addition of serial streamers. The old murderish format is best.

Seriously, please do to media training, reading training or learn how to inflect your voice. It is so impossibly boring and rote and I can't even listen. You read directly from a script and it sounds like it's the first time you've even looked at it.Read full review »

They just keep posting “best of episodes” that everyone has covered, recapping Netflix shows (you really think you can do it better?) and reposting serial streamers which is nothing like murderish. They haven’t produced an original episode in a long time and I can’t remember the last time I...Read full review »

It’s like listening to a robot. The stories would be compelling otherwise but I just can’t stand the voice used.

This podcast is like one long run on sentence… You can hear the California brain rot in her voice.

That backing click-clap track is crazy-making. Whose idea was that!?
plwhite via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 02/03/24
This cannot be dignified with the term ‘documentary’ - it was more of an exploitative, badly researched reality show which focused on nothing that was important in this complex case. Why , for example, were there no experts on dwarfism, coercive control or CSA? (A child does not act out sexually...Read full review »

Please make Serial Streamers its own pod. It’s a completely different format from Murderish, the constant background elevator music is distracting, and it’s nowhere near the level of research we’ve come to expect from Jami. I listen to the SS episodes when I’m caught up on everything else, but...Read full review »

I couldn’t tell it was your first one; there is another podcast where the host some times interviews people and it’s so awful I can’t listen to it; this was a well researched, well presented interview with well prepared questions. I really just want hear about the murder case, not about how the podcasters became friends or when they went rollerblading

I love the regular Murderish podcasts but skip the serial streamers podcasts. Too much blah, blah, blah. Make SS it’s own podcast

Ok so I like this show a lot, however, I listened to the Sakia Gunn story when it was released and it really changed my view of the show b/c I know this story well; I am familiar with Sakia’s family and I vividly remember when she passed. 1. The host pronounced the her name incorrectly the entire...Read full review »

This podcast is amazing! 🙏🏾 I listen to plenty of crime podcasts (TCAT both, Court Junkie, Murders in America, Inhuman, Sword & Scale, Criminology, etc) and she is another wonderful story teller! Cases are very detailed and thorough in their coverage of them. She tells the stories in a way...Read full review »

Very repetitive. Posts could be halved. Information good but length unnecessary. Lots of ‘womansplainjng’. e.g. tape played by someone else and then she explains what they said. Too many apologies about hair, dogs, etc etc.

I’ve enjoyed several of your podcasts, however, the latest episode I’m listening to, is a total turnoff because of the foul language. This podcaster feels like they have an uncomfortable chip on their shoulder. They call everyone stupid, the bring everyone down without lifting anyone up, they laugh when people are harmed. The research seems fine, but it’s so disparaging that it’s a complete drag.

I really like the way they tell the story. The details are on point! I love how they take you along the murder journey!

I’m new to the podcast and I have enjoyed some of the episodes that I’ve come across. Please always just go straight to the point. You make your episodes unnecessarily long. Some information you talk about aren’t relevant. You keep talking off key and it’s annoying and boring.

Way too many ads ..so it ruins the listening ..also why criticize The Duggers religion..each to their own …and they have freedom To live by their own religious beliefs ..without your insignificant Approval …. Boy you judge others harshly …
