Really enjoyed the concept behind this. Please continue this series or something similar

Interesting concept, but most episodes fell a bit flat, and there was no cohesive storyline and I left the show feeling unsatisfied

I can’t get enough of these strange tales. Second time listening through to them now. Original and bizarre.

It’s a treat from a wonderful set of writers. Every time you listen you find another parallel with the others in the series. Perfect piece of creepy before falling asleep to make you question if all the lights really need to be off tonight.

NOTE: CONTAINS HARM TO AN ANIMAL Overall, this is a well-done, creepy, well-produced series of stories. The sound design, music, acting, and writing are all very good. The stories intertwine well and have a sense of building tension as the series progresses. Aside from the note below I would...Read full review »

Nah
Dear BBC this needs an equal amount of male writers and characters in line with the equality rules you keep preaching to the masses about. If you don’t represent a group due to your bias don’t be surprised if that group doesn’t listen. The quicker license fee payers in the UK get rid of you the...Read full review »

The annoying sounds affects are like fingernails scratching a chalkboard. Just when you are getting into the story they interrupt with Captain Quint like screeching, squealing sounds. The sound designer must not listen to anything using headphones. Maybe it gets better in later shows where...Read full review »

I loved this series. Well written and produced, and thought provoking. I hope there’s more to come. I particularly enjoyed Episode 9: The Queue. Thanks for this!

I loved these short stories, they were different and held my attention easily, intriguing storylines and just about the right length of time to fit them in at lunchtime. I hope they make some more of a similar nature.

Absolutely genius. Reminds me of Black Mirror.

Some interesting stories in amongst some irritating sound effects, whispered credits and actors insisting on sickly smooth voices

What a nice spot of light in a dark time. It’s been enjoyable listening while cooped up at home. Has a Black Mirror Vibe and I can’t wait for more!

This is the best podcast I’ve listened to in a while. Reminded me of the Netflix series Black Mirror. I tend not to like fictional podcasts but this changed my mind. Very well produced. I’m sad it’s over and hope it generates a 2nd season.

A really interesting idea and perfect for a podcast listened through headphones...really immersive. Didn’t get into all episodes to the same level but the murmurs idea and the execution means all episodes were worth a listen...

Really love this podcast, I hope more episodes will be commissioned. I have ME and sometimes looking at a screen or book is too much, listening to great stories with interesting sound design and brilliant acting - really makes life better.

Gripping stories that are really interesting. The only drawback is that the sound effects in between sections are long and tedious, the pitch of them makes it really uncomfortable to listen to on headphones.

Professional sound effects and very well voiced.

If you're one of those people who likes ASMR - that tingling sensation down your neck triggered by whispers and crinkly sound - this podcast is for you. For me, however, ASMR is like nails on a chalkboard. I almost ripped my AirPods out of my ears and bailed out five minutes into the first...Read full review »

I have binged the whole 10 episodes in one day! Fantastic production, amazing performances and oh what talent there is out there with these 10 phenomenal writers! I only hope there will be more!

Incredible acting, writing, sound design, pacing - everything! But a huge cliffhanger of an ending with absolutely no questions answered. I don’t need everything spelled out but some small measure of closure would have been nice... Still, compelling and beautiful.

Absolutely love Mur Murs from BBC Sounds. Just finished episode 10 and enjoyed hearing Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler in Doctor Who) in three episodes of this series.

Amazing quality, and though only the first episode is out I can already tell this is going to be one of those that is an immediate listen every time it hits my feed.

Not going to compare to any other audio as this newborn is already up and running in its own. Where to next?
