really wanted to like it
i enjoy LPOTL, a dark humor true crime podcast, and was interested in more podcasts of the same genre. my favorite murderer seemed like it might be a new favorite. i’ve tried SEVERAL times to try and get into it? but I just can’t. i have to fast forward through up to 20 minutes of the episode before they get into actual true crime content, and when they do it’s very vague, with few details or facts. it isn’t a true crime podcast, it’s more like listening to two friends talk about their lives for an hour. i want to see the appeal, but as a true crime fan who wants actual content, i just can’t.

I like the podcast overall, it is basically just a casual conversation between friends about true crimes. They do spend way too much time talking about how weird they think they are for being into the subjects and that gets boring. Overall very fun to listen to though.
