“One of the things that I truly do enjoy about MFM is the banter at the beginning - but I get it. If you’re more of a “Criminal” podcast kind of listener, this podcast probably won’t be your cup of tea. That said, I truly enjoy listening to Karen and Georgia anecdotally talk about things that are horrific yet fascinating. I also use the word “anecdotally” because that’s just kind of their personalities - it’s a breath of fresh air from the usual schtick that most true crime podcasts use. Again, I don’t think that MFM is built for the “true crime podcast junkie,” especially if you’re used to the formulaic “just murder” talk. Perhaps some people see their non-murder talk as trivial drivel, but I think it adds to the charm of the show. Ultimately, if you’re looking for something on the lighter side with some fun sprinkled in despite the somber topics, jump in and join the murderino community!”
