Downward Spiral
It’s really painful to say, but what started as a seemingly really genuine conversation between friends and sharing with podcast audience has completely spiraled into an ad-churning re-run with completely disinterested hosts who care more about trying to pump money out of their audience than delivering solid content. They built a network on being relatable, honest, straightforward, but are unwilling to do that if it comes to affecting their $$$. Instead of being forthright about wanting to take a break or change to being a seasonal format (which would be great!) they have attempted to fool subscribers with recycled content and present it as something new, and evade telling the truth so as to run as many ads as possible. Everyone deserves a break, but the disingenuous and conniving way they have proceeded has been really disheartening and lost many a listener. I appreciate the ways they brought mental health into the spotlight, but they seem to weaponize it as an excuse when needed for or against others of themselves.

Looking into the face of pure evil was never so much fun (and also so insightful)

I just finished episode 2 and the happy, alternate world in which RFK lives sounds like the America we could become if we elect Bernie Sanders. He's our RFK in disguise. Love the podcast. It has me Googling JonBenet at work instead of actually working. Five stars for that.

Thoroughly enjoy this podcast, primarily because I enjoy all of the other things that Georgia and Karen do. And for those who post negative comments... you are clearly in the minority, and no one obviously gives a crap what your opinion is.
