“Edit: I’m leaving my old review here because it was true at the time. The girls have not podcasted together face to face since 2020 and their energy is gone. It’s obvious that they get handed a story by a researcher these days, which they just read out. It’s lost all its fun and charm. They barely ever feature a murder these days and as someone who lives outside California, they can be very woke which is irritating. I haven’t laughed out loud at this in a while and many of my murderino friends are similarly disappointed. It’s a pity they continue to dial it in. I miss the live shows. I miss their own twists on murder stories (not disasters or outlaws!!) I miss the chemistry they shared. So sad.
My old review: I love a good murder tale. This podcast is so much more than that though. Karen and Georgia are like the funniest, naughtiest, kindest, best friends that you wish you knew in person! From their brand of feminist wisdom to their ‘all-too-human’ anecdotes, with a large dollop of well being thrown in, this podcast has it all! And it makes me laugh out loud! I can’t recommend it enough.”
