Foraged Blossom Deviled Eggs 🥚 🌺
Hurry before it's too late. All the things are blossoming but the weather is trying to make the blossoms close all too soon. It's not too late for most of us though.
We're using crabapple blossoms, apple blossoms, forsythia blossoms, and cherry blossoms. Maybe a redbud might creep into this as well. Grab those blossoms and add them to your deviled eggs recipes for pretty pretty tasty snack.

Putters and Parasols ⛳
Let's make some lovely memories with putters and parasols. Decorating your own and joining with friends for a quick few rounds of miniature golf will make great days to look back on and cute photographs.

My Speech on Fallow Fields 🌾
At different times I'm called upon the speech at different groups. In this particular case, I was given the opportunity to speak at Unity of Blue Water in Port Huron Michigan last year in 2023. I'm sharing that speech here in hopes that you will find joy in it.

Eclipse Time Capsule 🌝 🎁
Eclipses are not everyday events. In fact, the next one won't happen again for another half lifetime. Let's make a time capsule for this one.

Baking Vanilla Wafers & Memories 💕
One of my fondest memories is sharing vanilla wafers with my dad. On a rainy day I want to make vanilla wafers and share some memories with you. And also warm up the house a bit. This recipe comes from a 1939 recipe by Sara Hentz. The cookbook was "The Household Searchlight Recipe Book". Enjoy.

Customer Reviews
Simplistic, yet full of information.
I just found this podcast, so I have not been following since the beginning. Ms. Kenya has a beautifully soothing voice. You can hear her kindness and love for a simplistic life come through in her podcast. I will become a long time listener. Thank you, for all your encouragement and words of wisdom.
Dear Nativeplantlover, thank you for your review
Hello, this is Kenya on my daughters phone. Still learning the technology here, as I don’t have Apple. I read your review, and i agree it was an off day I re-recorded the episode to make it more clear and accurate . Thank you for the feedback.
Misinformation
I really want to love this podcast, but my first listen was to the bearberry episode with so much blatant misinformation. I now don’t trust anything said by the host.
1. Bearberry is not a favorite of bears. They eat it in a starvation situation.
2. It is NATIVE to Michigan (not naturalized by people planting it) and has been used by indigenous people basically forever. It grows all over the shorelines of northern Michigan.
The host is pleasant and I wish there were less untruths in the podcast because I think I would really like it. Sad.
